With Sandra AI, the Uffective platform for project portfolio, resource and asset management gains an AI assistant. Users query their project data in plain language, get real-time analyses with charts and have tasks created directly.
Neuss / Roermond, 20 October 2026 – Energy utilities and grid operators use Uffective to manage their investment and project portfolios. Until now, anyone with a question about this data filtered tables, built Power BI reports or exported the data into their own BI systems. With Sandra AI, a single question is enough, typed or spoken. The assistant replaces the previous Ask Sandra function and is available now.
Data analysis as a conversation
Sandra AI understands the data in Uffective, analyses it and visualises it. Asked “How many tasks were created per month in 2026?”, the assistant returns a monthly breakdown, a short interpretation and a chart. Whether that is a bar chart, pie chart or box plot is up to the user and the question. Follow-up questions can be asked directly on the result.
Sandra AI finds individual objects within seconds and includes the links. For process questions, the assistant combines information from several sources, such as the wiki in the system, and explains step by step how a process works.

Sandra AI takes action – after approval
On instruction, the assistant creates tasks, adds the duration, a description and the link to a company objective (OKR), or changes status and assignee. Because Sandra AI knows where the user is in the system, instructions refer directly to the open object. Before anything is created, changed or deleted, the assistant shows the planned change and waits for approval. According to Uffective, steps that used to take five to ten minutes are now done in seconds.
Works with the user’s permissions
Every request to Sandra AI passes through Uffective’s business layer, where the security groups and the role and rights system set up for the user apply. The assistant can therefore see and do exactly as much as the user: those with broad permissions get correspondingly comprehensive answers, those with restricted rights only see their part.

Sandra AI is available now and is activated through the Customer Success team. The assistant runs in Uffective’s own Microsoft Azure environment in Germany.
